The Rock County Historical Society will present Dinner with President and Mrs। Lincoln as portrayed by Max and Donna Daniels. Other featured dinner guests will include actors portraying General and Mrs. Grant, Senator and Mrs. Douglas and other Civil War Presenters. The dinner will be a typical period meal. Following dinner guests can sit back to hear about the Lincolns last evening together.

A reception on the Formal Garden Patio and preview of silent auction kick off the night followed by a waited dinner by Best Events in the Parker Education Center. Following dinner there will be a live auction, dinner and dancing in the tent featuring live music by the Steve Pease Quartet (classic acoustic jazz), repeat performaces by Dancing with the Stars couples, and a raffle.

Learn about life during the Civil War. This event offers many great adult activities to participate in and learn from, as well as fun activities for the kids. Activities include taking part on a Civil War canon crew, being recruited into the infantry, conducting an infantry drill and watching an artillery forge being operated. Civilian life of the time will also be explored with a period fashion show, medical demonstration and by doing laundry with a regimental laundress. Other happenings include carriage rides, a ladies' tea, a haversack display, children's crafts and games and much more.There will also be an opportunity to meet and speak with reenactors portraying President Lincoln, Mrs. Lincoln, General Grant and Senator Douglas. Tours of the Tallman House will be $4/Adults and $2/Children. $3/Carriage rides, $1/Ladies' Tea, $2/Brass Civil War Dog Tags.This event will offer a taste of history and fun for the whole family.
